I Believe In Little Thing

I Believe In Little Thing:our store was listed on the main board of the stock exchange of usa limited on march 4 2005. I heard Diana Panton discussing this album on NPR. The interview also featured excerpts from some of the songs on the album. I was impressed by 2 things: Ms. Panton's voice and smooth jazz stylings and her concept of recording what is essentially an album for young children but in her usual adult contemporary style. As she put it in the interview, she lets the lyrics of the song speak to the young listeners; and she doesn't "dumb down" her singing style. For those of you not familiar with Ms.Panton or her work, she is one of Canada's best recognized contemporary jazz singers. Her voice is lovely and well suited to the genre. Many of the songs she selected for this album will be familiar to both parents and kids, including "Sing a Song" from Sesame Street, "The Rainbow Connection" from The Muppet Movie, and "Halfway Up the Stairs", the lyrics of which were written by A. A. Milne, author of Winnie the Pooh. I bought the album of rmy 6-year-old grandaughter, and she really likes it. She says it makes her want to dance, and she often listens to it at bedtime. Score one for Pappy with a major assist from Diana Panton.ranking top15,gifts,charlotte mallI Believe In Little Thing
